Privacy Policy

Throughline is operated by Inflect LLC (“Throughline”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is stored, and how you can delete it. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address, used to sign you in and link you to your training studio.
  • Training data — workouts, logged sets, check-ins, progress notes, and program assignments created by you or your trainer.
  • Progress photos — photos you choose to upload.
  • Messages and community posts — content you send to your trainer or post in your studio’s community.
  • Health and fitness data — with your permission, Throughline connects to your device’s health platform — Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android — to read your step counts (to power habit challenges) and to write your completed workouts back so your training record stays in sync. We access only these specific data types, use them only for these features, and never use health or fitness data for advertising, never sell it, and never share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can revoke this access at any time in your device’s Apple Health or Health Connect settings.
  • Diagnostics — anonymous crash and performance data (via Sentry) to keep the app stable.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide the service: to deliver your training program, sync your activity with your trainer, power the features you use, and keep the app reliable and secure.

How your data is stored and shared

Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, and is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted so that only you, the trainers and staff of the studio you belong to, and the systems that run the service can access your data.

We share data only with the service providers that operate the app (such as Supabase for storage and Sentry for diagnostics) and with the studio and trainer you are a client of. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: open Profile, then tap Delete account. This removes your account and your associated data — workouts, progress photos, check-ins, and messages. This action cannot be undone.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

Children

Throughline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
